Challenge Day 22: A Trio of Tweeters

I like birds so I had to make these wee dudes. I have lost the link to where I found them but I can tell you that the original maker used them to make an advent calendar. She sewed two birds together with a lolly in the middle and then added numbers to the wings. We have enough Advent calendars in our place and I didn't feel the need to cut out 48 birds so we just have these three.

A big stocking for a wee dude.... I had major issues with my sewing machine not the least of which that Will had a complete and utter melt down about the noise until I let him press the buttons! But got there in the end.

Happy Birthday to Me

No, not me- My Blog. Today is the 2 year anniversary of the first day I posted on See.Share.Remember.

I originally started this blog just before Will was born as a way to record our stories and share pics of all the goings on with family and friends. Then when Blogger totally removed the blog in October 2008 (back-up, back-up, back-up!!!) I started Down the Right of Way and of course now that's where we share our stories and this is where I share my creative stuff.

Anyway I just wanted to take the time to say- thanks for visiting, reading, commenting and the feedback I get in real life... it's pretty cool to have this place to share stuff and even cooler to have good people to share it with.

Made with the glass from an old slide mount, some ali tape and pictures from an old school reader. Used dimensional magic to sandwich it all together- easy peasy!
