I think you and I identify quite similarly - both ex NZer's now WAer's, same genre of music - only thing I don't see is the summer of listening to The Cars - maybe we are slightly different ages but all the other music fits. Loved your layout - thank you X
Oh cool... we're potentially looking at moving up that way at the end of next year I have applied to go back to Uni at ECU in Joondalup. Do you have a blog? How did you find your way here?
Are you kinda of 'believe in fate' girl? Its so weird I did my uni intro at ECU Joondalup and finished my Cert 3 Education Assistant at West Coast Tafe Joondi - so you know I'm in the area somewhere ;-). I don't have a blog as I am not that prolific a scrapper but I hang out at Anna's Craft Cupboard - my local enabler! I have been following/stalking :-) you since I saw Mystical Scrapbooks, so probably 3-4 years? Time goes so fast. I was drawn to your style of scrapping and the colours you use as they are very similar to mine but enough to be slightly different too. :-)
Oh! I 'knew' the original Anna before we moved over here. I've thrown my uni application to fate- I have no idea how the heck I am going to manage full time uni on the other side of town with this crew of mine... so I'm leaving that up to fate if I get in I'll need to figure it out. I have a teaching degree from NZ that I'd like to be able to use for some part time EA work but it seems like nobody can tell me what I need to do or who I need to talk to see if I even qualify... Australia has a lot of hoops to jump through and it's never just one department holding them. Hmmm I'd say that you should friend me on FB... but I am taking a FB hiatus at the moment- I kind of hate it! :-(
Hi Gypsy, know what you mean about FB - I use it for challenges at Anna's, keeping ideas for the classroom, I am also linked to Northern Suburbs EA group for ideas/training that comes up that is not advertised through the school, and too keep in touch with family back home in NZ. Sounds like me - 3yrs ago our local yr 7 intake school may as well of been on the moon - no way of getting oldest there on time - so applied to local Baptist College on the belief that if its meant to be we will get in. Most people are on a waitlist anything up 2-5yrs but fate decreed that she should go and now she could walk but being a teenager so much better to get a ride in mum's taxi - though if the taxi is late she better not complain as her little leggies will get a work out the next week!! Maybe we just communicate via here? Xx
In saying that I am back on FB with the realisation I really need my friends... so feel free to look me up there if you want to... via the Mystical chat page if my settings are too secure??
