If you see....

.... a 2010 Dr Seuss Calendar (the large size- I all ready have the mini) PLEASE buy it for me and I will pay you back!!

Thanks!

WITL- All put together

I finally put together all my Week In the Life Pages in an album. (It's an older Making Memories one same type as I used last year. I had to add some Bazzill pages in to it.

I put my album making notes in the back pocket these include hints and tips for next year and some overall observations and reflections. Like how much some things had changed and others had not. I also put in a page of info from the week that detailed more general stuff like the price of petrol, milk and bread, what was showing at the movies, on TV and what music was popular/top 40 that week etc.
When I do this next year I will definitely stop and postpone if I get sick in the first few days again. It really took the wind of of my sails and made the whole project feel quite flat compared to last year. But I am pleased to have it done to look back on. It is definitely an album that is worth the effort especially of you do it as you go along and can work digitally.

Challenge Day 22: A Trio of Tweeters

I like birds so I had to make these wee dudes. I have lost the link to where I found them but I can tell you that the original maker used them to make an advent calendar. She sewed two birds together with a lolly in the middle and then added numbers to the wings. We have enough Advent calendars in our place and I didn't feel the need to cut out 48 birds so we just have these three.

Challenge Day 16: Big Sock

A big stocking for a wee dude.... I had major issues with my sewing machine not the least of which that Will had a complete and utter melt down about the noise until I let him press the buttons! But got there in the end.

Inspired by an artist on Etsy I made these cute little felt ornaments to go up on the tree. :-) I like that they look a little retro.

Happy Birthday to Me

No, not me- My Blog. Today is the 2 year anniversary of the first day I posted on See.Share.Remember.

I originally started this blog just before Will was born as a way to record our stories and share pics of all the goings on with family and friends. Then when Blogger totally removed the blog in October 2008 (back-up, back-up, back-up!!!) I started Down the Right of Way and of course now that's where we share our stories and this is where I share my creative stuff.

Anyway I just wanted to take the time to say- thanks for visiting, reading, commenting and the feedback I get in real life... it's pretty cool to have this place to share stuff and even cooler to have good people to share it with.

Thanks.

Challenge Day 12: A Wee Ball

I made these last year to give as my Starbucks gifts but never made one for our tree so....
