Reading Now: Super Fast pages with 4 x 6 Photos

This is a Creating Keepsakes Special Issue Published in 2007- so it’s in a Magazine format with a few adverts at the front and back. I think I paid around $10 for it on Trade Me.

The book is laid out in 5 chapters;

1. LO's with 1-3 photos
2. LO's with 4 or 5 photos
3. LO's with 6 or 7 photos
4. LO's with 8+ photos
5. Mini Albums with 4x6 photos

Each chapter also has a section of photo gifts for family and a 'Designer Spotlight' which features a number of CK regulars like Ali Edwards and Becky Higgins.

Each page features a large full colour photo of a LO with a supplies list below it and a tip on each page in one of four categories (design, photography, cropping, creative photo use). Most pages also include some 'expert advice'.

To be honest with you I'm pretty unimpressed. I would suggest that unless you can pick this up dirt cheap you give it a miss. You would get just as much out of looking at some LO's on Two Peas as you would from looking at and reading this book. Yes the LO's are nice and there are some good ideas, but the tips are lame as are the quotes from the scrapbookers. There really isn't anything new here. Give it a miss.
