Reading Now: Mini Albums

Published by Scrapbook Trends in 2008 this is 160 or so pages of mini album goodness. This softcover book is a smaller format than usual. But still pack a visual punch. There are generally at least three LO's from each album, and often more. There is a huge variety of types and styles of album. And they range from the very basic to the more complex.
The albums range from premade to home made and out this world including one made from a vegetable steamer. It's divided into 12 sections; Baby, Family Fun, Quick and Easy, Kids, Collections, Unique, Travel, Acrylic, Celebrations and Heritage, as well as a 'Mini Album in a night' and a section with some great instructions for Making your own album including Bookbinding.
Each album includes a materials list and some minor comments from the creator. Some but not all albums have some brief instructions on creating the effects yourself.
This is technically as magazine special issue so there is some advertising but it is minimal and mostly contained within set sections as opposed to spread throughout the book.

Verdict; I like it and would happily pay $20 for it .
