Dear Dad

I'm not sure if I have talked about this on the blog before but even if I have it's worth mentioning again. Each year for father's day we give Les the same thing, we give him some other stuff as well, but he always gets this book.....

And inside it are 3 letters written (or dictated) by the kids. The letters outline what the kids think of Les and generally talk about what they like to do with him. I'm looking forward to seeing these letters change over time as the kids mature and can think more about Les than what they like to get out of them. After the letters have been read the book is 'carefully filled away' for next year and the letters are added to this clear file which is a collection of the letters since we started.

In the early days the letters from the smallest people were just a collection of Dad related words with various 'personal pronounciation' spelling applied.

It's a sweet little project that will be treasured over time- and relatively easy to do at the moment.
