Lots going on....

Well I didn't really get much scrapping done (or any) on Tuesday but I did have a good time sorting stuff out while Shannon did scrap next to me. I did get my stamps out though and now I have this....

This is my new splint (the 3rd one) and the best so far. And the coolest one to watch made. The Physio gets this great big sheet of some sort of Polymer and then heats it up so it goes soft and malleable and then she shapes it around my arm. It's way cool and we have lots of photos but the kids took them so they're not so hot....

My physio is really cool, she's nice and sweet... I think she needs to be a bit more of a hard arse though. :-)

We had a full on weekend the kids both had friends over to sleep... because with Grandma arriving tomorrow we won't be able to have any more sleep overs. Kieran had Jake and Merenia had Charlotte.... can't find her room anymore... need to remedy that before tomorrow.

I did get some scrapbooking done... I think this was on the weekend or maybe Monday I'm not sure all the days blur lately...

As per usual Will has been providing much amusement lately....

And what's so funny about this....

What's so funny is that despite the attempts of three of his best people to make him happy he is still doing his best-est sad face. He has a lot of faces this boy....

Amused......................serious.........................disinterested

Tired.................Earnest (filling my pants)............... Coy?

And then there's his Queen Victoria Face... "I am NOT amused!"......

I just purchased a new Making Memories Trimmer (it arrives tomorrow with my grandma) it was a scary $120 which if the reviews are right will be worth it because my paper trimmer is the tool I use most often of all and that I most want to be working well. Anyway because of the big expense I have been culling some scrapbooking stuff to sell on Trade me. Yesterday Kieran helped me sort out the Fibres and Ribbon that have been stashed away and not used for far too long. He counted them for me and apparently there are 97! That's the lot that I am selling I still have another pack that I am keeping and the ribbons hanging on the door in the scraproom. I'm not as bad as Carolann though.

We are about to get really busy around here so we've been doing the important stuff like reading stories while we still have time.

The Gymbaroo teacher in me says I shouldn't have him propped up like that because it's not good for his cute little back muscles (especially considering the amount of time he doesn't spend on his tummy). But the chick with the splint who was hauling out the stories was having issues with the hauling and the holding... so we went for the propping.

Yay Spot! Kieran used to call him "Pos the da" (Spot the Dog) You gotta love Spot stories for sweet little people. And board books are fantastic for people that like to taste their literature and apply a smattering of dribble to it. He's getting so good with his hands... and his aim with getting stuff in his mouth is fab! He's pretty pleased with himself about all that...

Hmmmmm gotta love a baby in a skivvy! Well I do anyway. I may be biased though.

So lots happening today; Alyssa is visiting. We're off to do big shopping this arvo. Sylvia arrives for scrapbook camp. And I'm pretty sure Shannon and Lisa are coming to visit this evening. Heading up to camp at some point to intro Will to Sylvia and drop off some essential supplies. (What??? Stamps, paint and magazines ARE essential supplies!) Tomorrow is ANZAC day so I assume Les has plans to head off early for a parade somewhere. I still haven't got to the bathroom (the loo is gleaming for the first time in a long time) so I want to get that done before Great Grandma arrives at half past 5. (Damn did I just think that out loud- it'll never happen now!)
Saturday I think will be pillow and 'mature lady clothes' shopping for Grandma. And then Kieley, Will and I are heading up to camp for Roast dinner. YUM! Sunday morning camp again... I realised I can't live without Bacon and egg breakfasts for 2 years! and then again on Sunday arvo to pick up Sylvia. She's coming here and then we'll take her to the airport.
Monday I have a Hands appointment and Merenia has a scrapbooking class... Tuesday kids visiting, Thursday kids visiting and Friday grandma heads back across the ditch. By which time we'll all be ready for a holiday just in time to head back to school. Phew! So if you don't hear much from me in the next week now you know why!
