The first photo I did not take today was my view from the tech room window. The cloudy sky made the green foliage glow and outside my window was a tall Agave plant. The kind that grow tall wide succulent leaves up from the ground with the little prickles running up each side. This plant is healthy and pure... if you didn't know better you may think it a fake for its perfect leaves. The green was a real grassy lime and it contrasted perfectly with the crown of orange that topped one leaf. A cheezel that a child, in a most likely impulsive moment, had decorated the plant with.
The second photo I did not take today was of a little boy. He was roaming jauntily across the playground at lunchtime heading from the junior school towards the library. He wore school shoes with long blue socks which were rumbled up to the middle of his calves. Not so far above the socks a pair of Black pin stripe shorts that looked to be made of good suit fabric. He shirt which hugged his skinny boyish chest was a long sleeved thermal top which had blue sleeves and a red striped body. His hair was tousled around his face and he outfit (none of which matched) was topped off by a brown cowboy hat circled with tan stars. As he walked he smiled not looking really where he was going if he even knew and flicked his head so that in one jerky movement the hat would jump off his head and then come back down to rest on it again. You could tell by the sum of him that he was happy, content this sunny school lunchtime.
